If you go to you should be able to get a credit report without entering card information.

You can’t get a credit report with a store card. You need to use a MAJOR credit card, that is why it will not work.
Go to the credit bureaus directly, you get one free a year and you don’t have to pay for it.

Your Maurice’s card only works at the Maurice’s store.
It probably does not have a Visa or MC logo on it, right? That is why it is saying the numbers are too short.
You need a Visa or MC credit or debit card.
