How to pick my free credit report annually?

rutha asked:

I know I am entitled to one free credit report per year.
Where should I go?

Also, what defines “1 per year”? Is it one per calendar year? Or is it one year appart?

Thanks

Alice

    It’s one year apart.

You can get it from several places, most will recommend annualcreditreport.com but I found there report to be a bit inaccurate and missing important information. If you want an extensive and accurate one give creditreport.com a try. You have to signup to their free trial but its worth it for the detailed report you get. There is a review of them at the site below
